An 18th Century and later unmarked yellow metal mourning ring, with later added central oval free cut sapphire, approx 10mm x 8mm in a 10 claw setting. Scroll decorated hoop dated to outside 18th Oct 1756. old solder repair to shank. Slight misshapen hoop. 3.5g size O.
