A French enamelled porcelain plaque, after Laure Levy, 'Young Love', indistinctly signed 'M Luce', 20.5cm x 15cm, within gilt frame, 28.7cm x 24cm overall

The image is bright, but there are one or too scuff marks and fine scratches to the surface, noticeably on the bird to the left of the image, the girl's arm and the blue of the sky. The image may benefit from cleaning. The frame does not completely overlay the plaque, so the front edges of the plaque at the top and sides are visible. The bottom edge is concealed by the mount, however some discolouration is visible. The plaque has not been removed from the frame so there may be issues around the edges we are not aware of. The frame itself shows some scratching and rubbing to the gilt finish throughout, with excessive rubbing and evidence of over-painting to the edges and high points. The bottom right joint is slightly open at the corner.
