A WILLIAM AND MARY OYSTER VENEERED LACE BOX. probably olivewood, the hinged lid with inlaid scrolling foliate pattern within an oval surround, opening to a vacant interior and later velvet lining and paper remnants, height 14cm, width 58cm, depth 45cm.
Losses to inlay and moulding, lid partially restored (two corners not completed with colour variation and damaged inlay). Scratches to top. Paper lining remnants to interior.
