Assorted ephemera, including an early 20th Century commonplace album containing manuscript pen & ink sketches and other written entries, c.1911-1920, many of the sketches and entries stated as being done on board the steam ocean liner RMS Osterley 1911-1912, which operated a passenger service from London to Australia via the Suez Canal, contemporary calf gilt; a 19th Century leatherbound album with gilt title to front cover "Confessions", each leaf with printed questions and with manuscript pen & ink responses/answers from various different people, printed questions include "Your favourite virtue", "Your favourite qualities in man" "... in woman", "Your chief characteristic", "Your idea of happiness", "Your idea of misery", "Your favourite poets", "...prose authors", "...painters and composers", "...heroes in real life", "...heroes in fiction", "...heroines in fiction", "...food and drink" etc etc, 40+ pages with manuscript answers to questions filled in, dated c.1879-1905, some responses sincere/serious, some sarcastic/humourous, contemporary calf gilt worn; plus a 1920's/30's cruise liner snapshot photograph album with some relevant ephemera inserted, and a folder and small album of sketches c.1930's-40's
