A Chinese Republic footed bowl decorated with an extensive garden landscape scene, blue seal mark to the underside, 27cm diameter; together with a similar period footed bowl decorated with a snowy lakeside scene and calligraphy; red mark to the underside, 21cm diameter (2).
The republic footed bowl has no chips or cracks but the gilt band has rubbed in several places and there is restoration to the rim at the bottom right. The other bowl is in good overall condition.
