A WWI First World War British 1896 pattern Mountain Artillery sabre. The sword having a blackened, ribbed iron grip with a D shaped guard. The ricasso stamped 1916 with broad arrow inspection mark above I.S.D ( India Store Department) and the spine marked for Wilkinson makers. The leather scabbard further embossed with 1916 date and brass furniture. Measures approx 95cm.
