Victorian 18ct gold open faced pocket watch, London 1851, the case foliate chased on the back cover, with a cartouche initialled 'AD', gilt dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, chased with a floral bouquet to the centre, minute finger deficient, keywind movement signed 'Edward Gilbert, Belfast', the case 50mm (missing its glass), with key, gross weight approx. 97.6g

The case has not glass. The dial is missing its minute finger. There is some wear to the black paint on the numerals. There is wear to the milling on the edge of the case. Some slight wear to the engraving at the edge of the back of the case. There is a small cartouche initialled 'AD'. The inner dust cover is metal. The watch ticks soundly, however the key that is with the watch is not the original key and doesn't quite fit.
