A good William IV 1796 pattern light cavalry officer's sword, blade 33" finely etched, blued and gilt with crowned "WRIV" cypher, Royal Arms, figure of a mounted cavalryman, and trophies, regulation pattern steel hilt with wire bound fishskin covered grip, in its steel scabbard. Good Condition, the blade retaining virtually all original finish. £2000-2500
