French Model 1822 Light Cavalry Sabre with curved fullered single edged blade 920mm in length. Maker marked to spine of blade "Coulaux, Klingdenthal". Felt washer present. Blade cracked and repaired. Brass guard. Wire bound grip. Overall length 108cm. Complete with steel scabbard with twin suspension rings.
Blade has a welded repair15cm from the tip. Guard is a little loose. Sword is slightly loose in the scabbard. One dent to scabbard.
