A Wilkinson commemorative sword, marking 50 years of "Peace and Reconciliation" since the end of World War II, 1945-1995, number 301 of a limited issue, the 34" blade etched with doves of peace, a shepherd with a lamb, and scrolls with texts celebrating the peace and the sacrifice of all those who suffered or perished in the conflict, the gilt mounted hilt having 9" crosspiece in the form of a stylised eagle, and an ovoid pommel depicting the globe within a wreath, mounted on a wooden wall plaque inscribed "1945-1995 The Price of Freedom is Eternal Vigilance - Winston Churchill".
