ADDITIONAL ½d MAIL TAX - EDINBURGH: A box file containing an 1813-39 set of Es & ELs neatly mounted on pages and classified inc. 1812 EL ex London to Kelso forwarded to Jamaica 5 years later charged "2/5½(d)" + "4/4(d)" with a faint boxed ED224a "Addl./½" hs; 1837 partial EL ex Fort William to Edinburgh redirected to Coventry initially charged "1/1(d)" deleted and a new charge "1/1(d)" ms & ED249 unboxed "Addl./½" hs applied, fine "FT. WILLIAM" s/l hs on back; 1838 EL to Dumfries with a fine ED244 unboxed "Addl./½" adjacent to a "DUMFRIES/PENNY POST" hs which has been deleted; plus an incomplete range of types from ED210 to ED249.
