Mahogany single fusee balloon mantel clock, the 6" cream dial and movement back plate signed John Carter 28 St Swithins Lane, London, within a balloon shaped case inlaid with boxwood lines and a central oval paterae, 1.5" high (locking pendulum)
General condition is reasonable but there has been some re-painting on the dial clearly visible in the images also some damage to the case on the front left hand side above the plinth and general sun fading, the movement ticks and there is a key for winding and the door, see images for guidance, personal viewing always advised where possible
