Fees

An early 19th Century oak and mahogany crossbanded longcase clock with eight-day movement, the 14 inch over-painted broken arch dial with rolling moonphase, subsidiary seconds and date dials, bearing signature for William Kirk, Stockport, height 230cm, some damage.

More Information

Some scuffs to later over-painted dial. Two replacement weights. The feather is missing from the end of the pendulum. The keyhole escutcheon to the trunk door has been removed.
Update - The overpainting appears just on the numerals but it is possible that other areas have been re-touched in but it is difficult to confirm this as its not apparent.
