A Victorian hallmarked silver and tortoiseshell trinket jewellery box. The box having a repouss decorated lid depicting two figures with blank cartouche and mounted swags and wreaths, to tortoiseshell body, raised upon hoof feet. Marked for Leuchars London. Partial hallmark GS Lion Passant S to lid. Weight approx 262g. Measures approx 13cm x 10cm. Tortoise shell base in situ but loose.
