Paris: A Pud Joannem Roigny, 1549. Brown leather bound board, red edges. Provenance: Bookplate with the inscription 'Ex Bibliotheca Arm. Jul. Princip. de Rohan Arch. Duc. Rem', identifying it as belonging previously to Armand-Jules, Prince of Rohan (1695-1762). He served as Archbishop of Reims, a highly prestigious position, and anointed Louis XV at his coronation in Reims in 1722. Additionally, a handwritten inscription on the front endpaper reads 'Ex libris Gaspard de Gignoux'.
