A ruby and diamond cluster ring, comprising a central oval mixed cut ruby measuring 11mm x 8mm, claw set to a surround of ten round brilliant cut diamonds, each weighing an estimated 0.25 carats approx. all set in 18ct white gold to a plain polished shank, ring size S, weight 10.3gms

Central stone is untested. Central stone in heavily worn, with heavy abrasion to the girdle, facet edges, and heavy scratching to the facets. Possible signs of fracture filling and heat treatment. All diamonds are present and in good order, some with small chips to the facet edges and facets. All settings are in tact, claws show slight signs of wear. Shank shows no sign of thinning, splitting, re-sizing or repair. General scratching, wear and tear only.

Accurate colour and clarity for the diamonds cannot be provided due to the setting. However, the approx. clarity for these stones are P2 - SI1. Approx. Half have inclusions visible with the naked eye. Viewed face up, the stones are sparkly and bright and white, with only some showing a slight draw of colour.
