A cased set of six Aynsley coffee cans and saucers, each piece with cobalt blue and gilt foliate bands and scalloped rims, the cans with pierced geometric silver sleeves, marks for Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1936, cans 6.2cm high, saucers 12cm diameter
All pieces show minor rubbing to the gilt highlights throughout, but no chips, cracks or losses. The cans show some staining to the interiors commensurate with age and use. Two of the cans are not seated fully in their sleeves. The sleeves show minor surface wear and tarnishing. The fitted case shows wear commensurate with age and use.
