A worksplate, LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 63344, DARLINGTON WORKS, 1913, from a North Eastern Railway Class T2, LNER Q6 Class, 0-8-0 No 1252 built at Darlington in February 1913, renumbered 3344 in 1946, becoming BR 63344. Its BR sheds were Newport, Haverton Hill, Thornaby and West Hartlepool, from where it was withdrawn on 17 September 1967 at the very end of steam on the NE Region, and sold for scrap to Thompsons at Stockton on Tees. Cast brass, 9"x5", cleaned and the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
