A FIRST WORLD WAR GERMAN 'BUTHCER' BAYONET AND SCABBARD. A First World War German M1898 bayonet with a 37 cm pointed blade with swollen end and broad fuller, marked V.C Schilling, and 15 beneath a crown to the back, with a two part wooden grip. In a steel scabbard with leather frog and belt hanger. 52 cm overall.
