Two African painted wood figural carvings, probably late 19th/early 20th century. Comprising a figure of a soldier, similar to Askari examples from Kenya and a smaller carving of a female, possibly Baoulé people, Ivory Coast. (2 items) 32 cm height, 22 cm height.
