A George V enamelled silver mounted cut glass dressing table jar, of cylindrical form with star cut base, blue guilloche enamel to circular silver cover, 6.3cm diameter, 4.9cm high
Enamel largely in good order. There is a small, circular stress fracture beneath the surface, visible in the second image. There are some surface scratches, visible under reflective light. There is some denting to the edges of the cover, and general scratching and wear. Small chip to the base of the glass jar, moderate scratching and wear throughout, mostly concentrated to the base. No signs of splitting, thinning or repair.
