An early 19th century blue and white transfer-printed Don Pottery Named Italian Views series large platter, c. 1820. 49 cm wide. It is decorated with a view of Residence of Solimenes near Vesuvius. Additionally has the uncommon ‘FALCON’ mark.
Generally in good and clean condition, some loss of paint / glazing, 1 area on the front touched up. Surface wear.
