A SMALL GROUP OF 19TH AND 20TH CENTURY SILVER AND PLATE, comprising a late Georgian Scottish silver toddy ladle with whalebone handle, engraved initials, maker William Marshall, Edinburgh, lacks date letter, length 17.5cm, a George IV white metal 'Reward of Merit' awarded to William Wilson Laurie of Claremont Crescent, Edinburgh, from Galashiels Academy 13th May 1828', fitted with hanging loop, diameter 3.7cm, a Victorian silver pill box, repoussé decorated with a band of roses back and front, vacant circular cartouches, gilt lined, contains a lock of hair and dried foliage, indistinct maker's mark, Birmingham 1887, diameter, 3.9cm, 0.49ozt, 15.2 grams, a George V silver child's teether in the form of a squirrel with a mother of pearl teether, makers Crisford & Norris Ltd, Birmingham 1928 and a Victorian Elkington & Co silver plate swing handled sugar basket with cranberry glass liner, the wire basket with fruiting vine decoration, plate mark for 1849 (5) (Condition Report: general wear, some hallmarks rubbed, dint to lid of pill box, cranberry liner a possible replacement)
