A LARGE CHINESE BRONZE VASE, 17th CENTURY

The pear-shaped body in the style of the archaic bronze Hu, raised on a flared circular foot, decorated with very fine low relief patterns of Taotie masks in three sections, flanked by two stylised dragon mask handles. Height 39cm, weight 4kg.
