CREWE JOHNSON’S CELEBRATED OINTMENT POT LID. 2.75ins diam. Strong, crisp black transfer for JOHNSON’S CELEBRATED OINTMENT/ MANUFACTORY/ SUMMER HOUSE WRINE HILL NEAR CREWE. Central building pict. (still standing - recently restored - you can't miss it driving through Wrinehill (between Nantwich & Newcastle) people & horse & cart below. Light flange crazing & minor flange hairline & 6 o-clock (see close up detailed image) which doesn't really detract. This just has to be one the strongest/ clearest prints I've ever seen on this still scarce lid with absolutely stunning large pictorial? (9/10)
