2nd Life Guards Officers Forage Cap of Lt. Col. Sir Morgan Crofton Bt. A rare pre Great War example of the regimental pattern tailored by Hamburger Rogers & Co. Dark blue mohair crown and body, with scarlet piping to the welt of the crown and band mounted with a gilt and enamel Household Cavalry cap badge; the chinstrap is retained by 2nd LG buttons. The interior with leather sweatband with gilt initials MGC and tailors details. Slight age and service wear retains a very good shape.
