1789 (Sep 29) Entire letter from Dorchester to London, handstamped "DORCHESTER" and circular double ring "FREE / A" (used by William Addison, Assistant to the Clerks of the Roads) in purplish brown, "FR" not struck, otherwise quite clear and very scarce, only recorded between 26 Sept. and 1st Nov. 1789, very few examples known.
