A late 18th century watercolour, pen and ink, depicting a de-masted man-o-war under attack, indistinctly signed , dated 1781, 20 x 29cm.
Over all condition is only fair. The colours are faded and become very monotone. There are no signs of any tears or rips. There are are no signs of insect infestation. Frame appears contemporary with a lot of the gilding being very worn.
