A .65” Tower New Land pattern flintlock holster pistol, 15” overall, barrel 9” with Hanoverian safety bolt conversion behind the breech; the lock bearing crowned “GR” and “Tower”; walnut fullstock with regulation brass mounts including brass reinforcing plate around the throat, the side plate stamped with Hanoverian regimental markings “A.B A.36”. Basically GC, (worn overall with some pitting, top jaw and screw and frizzen spring replaced, action AF. As the cross bolt safety is normally part of the conversion to percussion, this would appear to have been converted back to flintlock with a replacement lock. £500-550.
