A Rare 3rd Reich SA Dagger with full Röhm Inscription. Maker: J.A Henckels, Zwillingswerk Solingen. A very fine condition dagger from a very reputable collection. “OM” Gau Marking for Oustmark. After the “Night of the Long knives” in 1934, a purge to stop a potential coup led by Ernst Röhm, resulting in many extrajudicial executions including Röhm. Hitler ordered all Röhm inscriptions to be removed from the existing blades. This dagger is one of the precious few that have survived.
