A late 18th or early 19th Century Thomas Bristow grandfather clock in good order, 8 day single weight mechanism with silvered dial featuring excise/revenue officers hunting smugglers with ships to the background at sea in a brass surround, in excellent condition and in running order when removed. We believe it to date to around 1780
