A small mother of pearl fan, probably burgau, in fontange form, the monture shaped and inset with steel, mounted with a cream silk leaf painted with a courting couple, and with the addition of tiny sequins, height approx. 21cm; together with a Palmette or Jenny Lind fan advertising the Trocadero Restaurant on each stick, the leaf panels in layers of pink fading to pale apricot crepe paper, and a larger fan with double paper leaf showing the Casino at Vichy (a Spa town in France) (3)

Some splitting to the silk on the MOP fan. The Vicky fan has nicks to the folds.
