A documented Charles II pewter wrigglework flat-lid tankard, Warwickshire, circa 1680

The flat lid decorated with a large single tulip head, twin love birds thumbpiece, hollow swan-neck handle struck with ownership initials and shield terminal, the drum with three matching tulip heads spaced by stylized trees, touchmark 
inside base of Samuel Billing, Coventry, (fl.1675-1707), (PS703), height 15.7cm, base diameter 12.2cm
