Medieval chessman type seal matrix, the circular seal face engraved with a device of a human face within a beaded border. The hexagonal-sectioned handle has a loop in the form of a trefoil above a triple collar. 30mm x 19mm diameter, 13.2g. Glossy green patina, some nibbles to the edge. Circa 13th - 14th century.
