The 1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport is the first year the model features a unitary construction body in the classic ‘coke bottle’ shape. This features a 302ci V8 motor and being a ‘Sport’, the spec includes integrated hood scoop along with the twin colour-keyed racing mirrors, moulded door panels, body-side and wheel lip moldings . The 1972 Ford Gran Torino Sport is best known for appearing in the movie Gran Torino, directed by and starring Clint Eastwood.
This car was imported from Los Angeles to the UK in 2004, when it was showing 78,000 miles. It was registered JMA321K. In 2008 it was exported to the Irish Republic where it has had just one owner who kept the car garaged. The car was a familiar sight on the American car scene there and clocked up over 20,000 trouble free miles attending the events.
Presenting in very good condition the car comes with its original handbooks, old MOTs from its time in the UK, some receipts and misc information sheets on the ‘72 Gran Torino model.
The car is currently registered in the Irish Republic. No VAT or duties are due on importation. We will provide NOVA certification and assist with reregistration in UK
