A continental, probably German, sidearm, plain SE blade 19”, slightly swollen towards hatchet point, small stamp (unclear) at forte, solid brass hilt, “S” shaped crossguard with plain upper and bud shaped lower quillons, finely ribbed, shallow pistol shaped grip, small crowned “Is” stamp below crossguard. GC, with a good patina. Plate 10
