A Japanese satsuma squared cylindrical vase, ornately decorated with panels of figures, finely picked with gilt, 48cm high, Meiji period.
The vase has a small chip to the underside of the foot. Wear to some of the gilt, esp. to the shoulder. The usual crazing/craquelure associated with satsuma glaze, to rim and interior. Possible hairline indicated when tapped lightly. Please see additional images.
