A Coalport dessert service, circa 1860 comprising ten plates and four comports, centrally painted in polychrome with sprays of flowers and winged insects including bees and butterflies, the pink ground border with alternating pierced and enamelled panels of butterflies, plates with impressed 'V:' mark, otherwise unmarked, plates 24cm diameter, comports 6.5cm high (14) Provenance: Ivor Southorn Collection.
