A large Victorian bronze medal commemorating the reception of Kaiser Wilhelm II at the City of London, dated 1891. Obverse depicts conjoined busts of the Emperor and Empress, inscribed ‘GULIELMUS II IMPERATOR ET REX’. Reverse depicts Londinia standing by the Thames with Germania seated. Dated ‘JULY 10TH 1891’. 7.9 cm diameter. Condition report: Some age related wear. Viewing recommended.
