WW1 Royal Flying Corps Maternity Pattern Service Dress Jacket etc, RFC embroided pilot's wings, Sergeant rank insignia to both sleeves, some moth damage to bottom of jacket at the front and also on the back. Also with RFC side cap with shop label for Piccadilly, London, RFC cap badge to side and 2 RFC buttons to the front, Triplex Safety Glass "FWT" Model Aero/Motor Goggles in case of issue, padding starting to come away, 2 Ideal RFC Loose Leaf notebooks and plain notebook, full of handwritten notes on all aspects of flying and machine guns etc. These 3 notebooks named to Cadet T.R. Martin at RAF Armament School, B Sqn No 5 RFC Cadet Wing and Oxford. With copied AB 425 Pilot's Flying Log Book to Sgt Pilot T.R. Martin, typed family notes and copied photo in uniform. Thomas Robert Martin (No 89411) was born in Durham 1899, enlisted in RFC 24/7/17, joined No 46 Trg Sqn 27/5/18, flew DH6 and Avro 504K, graduated A Oct 1918. Sold on behalf of the family.
