LATER 19th/20th CENTURY MAIL; Range with 1828 chisel-slit EL to Scotland with framed-arch "GIBRALTAR" and framed "½" h.s. on front 1849 env. to Bombay with gibraltar d.s. and "GIBRALTAR PAID" UDC on front and twice chisel slit, 1857 local EL with Gibraltar d.s. on front chisel slit - very rare late example of disinfection with content by a Captain of a ship in quarantine after arrival from Brazil, 1897 5c PC to England uprated QV 5c with message indicating quarantine and a 1914 PPC to England depicting the Naval Hospital.
