A Regency mahogany military campaign desk, circa 1820, with drum top opening to reveal a fitted interior, sliding pull surface with integral writing slope, below two short over two long drawers with brass campaign handles, decorated with reeding and roundels, brass carrying handles to each side, raised on short shaped stile feet, 99 by 54 by 99.5cm high, with key. Provenance: The Estate of Mr Joseph B. Hay, son of Major-General Arthur K. Hay DSO OBE - 100 years of a military family.
