Omega Megaquartz, a mahogany marine chronometer, High Frequency 1010 1Hz-1v, with calibre 1525-9600 4.19 Mhz movement, boxed. As supplied to the French Navy Hydrographic and Oceanographic Service from 1980 having been designed by Henri Schneider. Various examples of this model were given to visiting diplomats and royalty including King Hussain of Jordan in 1987 and President Reagan and Gorbachev in 1985 whilst at the American-Russian Summit held in Geneva.
