Charles II (1660-1685), Crown, 1680, fourth bust right, toothed border both sides, legend surrounding, CAROLVS II DEI GRATIA. Rev, crowned cruciform shields, interlinked pairs of Cs in angles, garter star at centre, date either side of top crown, seven strings to Irish harp, reads MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX. Edge inscribed in raised letters, DECVS ET TVTAMEN ANNO REGNI TRICESIMO SECVNDO (S.3359;
Bull.412; ESC.60). Some adjustment marks, fields clear, pleasing detail in the lower segments of hair. Bold fine or better, scarce.
