A 17th century style portrait of Blanche Somerset, wife of Lord Arundell, died 1649 aged 66, oil on canvas, framed, 68 by 96cms. Provenance: Belonged to the late Jennifer Morland (1941-2018), the only child of the Hon. Blanche Hanbury-Tracy (1908-1993), whose father was Gerald Arthur Arundell, 15th Baron Arundell of Wardour (1861-1939).
The painting is probably a 19th century copy which has been heavily cleaned and re-lined, the frame is in good condition.
