A Belgian 5 shot 7mm Loron double action pinfire revolver, number 4583, c 1862, sighted octagonal barrel 100mm, the breech stamped “LORON BREVETE”, Liege proved, a lever beneath the breech swings backwards to release the barrel allowing it and the cylinder to slide forwards on the cylinder pin for loading, with folding trigger and plain ebony grips.
