A late Victorian / Edwardian mahogany bellows plate camera by A Birnie, Dundee, with tripod stand, in a leather case, 47cms wide; together with a Magic Lantern with a large collection of slides for Japan, New York, Norway, and others, the majority produced by Pageant Prize Plate Company, Watford, in their original cardboard cases.
Overall the camera looks in good condition. The leather case is split in several places with mould on the surface. The mahogany camera casing is cracked and split, there is no makers plate but there is a retail paper bag with Wallace Heaton on it with accessories.
