A pair of Dresden hand painted oval porcelain portraits of the natural historian’s and palaeontologists Robert & Elizabeth Gray of Edinburgh, Scotland, 19th century. Both with the original gilt frames. A biographical archive book of Mrs Robert Gray and Family, dated 1938 with illustrations also included. Oval plaques: 20 cm x 15 cm.
Condition reports: Portraits in good condition, very faint age related wear. Frames some age related wear and small losses as illustrated.
