A Belgian 5 shot 9mm Delmotte patent double action pinfire revolver, c 1863, half round half octagonal barrel 150mm, engraved “SCHOLBERG & GADET A LIEGE”, the breech stamped “J.J. DELMOTTE BREVETE” (faint), a split lever below the barrel releases it to slide forwards allowing the cylinder to be slid forwards for loading, Liege proved, with scroll engraved frame, cylinder and mounts, and plain walnut butt.
