A REGENCY MAHOGANY EIGHT DAY LONGCASE CLOCK, the hood with three finials of a bird with open wings, the domed glazed door enclosing a painted 11 inch dial, signed Jn? Le Cras of Jersey, bell striking movement, with a moonphase automaton movement to arch, the spandrels painted with figures emblematic of the four continents, Arabic Numerals, seconds and date dials, over a trunk with a shaped door, quarter rope design to the front corners, on a separate plinth with large claw front feet, height 232cm, with two weights, pendulum, winding key and two trunk keys (condition:-veneer lifting slight to the hood, the dial with historical repairs as movement previously detached, cracking to finish, historical cracks above trunk door)
